History

Wagin has a long and storied history, dating back to the early 1800s. The town was originally founded as a stopover point for settlers travelling from Perth to Albany. Wagin is located approximately 225km southeast of Perth, and can be reached by car in around 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus from Perth, which will take around 4 hours. There's also a small airport located in Wagin, which offers flights to and from Perth.
